e-shelter at AWS Summit on June 6 – 7 in Berlin: Hyperscale operator AWS is a close partner in the data centers of e-shelter

Frankfurt, May 22nd, 2018 – e-shelter, a leading data center provider in Europe and an NTT Communications Group company, will be at the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Summit in Berlin, on June 6 – 7, as a Silver Sponsor. e-shelter is a close partner of the leading cloud provider in Germany, and has found that an increasing number of organisations are starting out their digital transformation journeys with a hybrid cloud strategy; implementing a combination of private and hybrid cloud infrastructure with e-shelter. At its Innovation Lab in Frankfurt, co-location and data center vendor e-shelter also enables companies to conduct the necessary tests and proof of concept projects for hybrid architectures, such as cloud services on AWS.

VMware Cloud on AWS, a cloud solution developed by VMware and AWS, will soon be available for testing in the e-shelter innovation lab. Businesses use VMware Cloud on AWS to simplify their hybrid IT operations without the need for new or customised hardware, or indeed the need to rewrite applications or change existing operating models.

e-shelter is hosting partner for the AWS EU region, located in Frankfurt am Main. e-shelter provides the necessary low latency network connections via AWS Direct Connect. High data throughput and flexible bandwidths of 50 Mbps to 500 Mbps via 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps, along with virtual connections via dedicated cross connect connections and a redundant layer 2 network infrastructure, make hybrid cloud concepts easy to implement.
