Your tasks

  • Management and operation of the ADS, DNS and DHCP, PKI, the virtual servers (Hyper-V, VmWare) as well as the SAN and storage technology
  • Management and operation of Exchange, Sharepoint, files, print, SCCM, SQL Server, Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop environment
  • Backup & recovery
  • Project work and documentation
  • Error analysis/2nd level support
  • Version updates, technical integration tests, monitoring of production operations
  • Willingness to work on an on-call basis

Your profile

  • You ideally have a degree in information technology or have completed a technical apprenticeship in data processing and have several years of professional experience in the IT environment
  • Excellent knowledge of the areas of Windows 2008/2012 Server, PKI, Exchange 2010/2103, Lync 2013 and Citrix XenApp
  • Good knowledge of the areas of MS SQL 2008/2012/2014, Sharepoint 2010/2013, SCCM, network technology (TCP/IP) as well as SAN and storage technology (EMC and Brocade)
  • You are familiar with high availability systems
  • Experience with Office 365 and Azure as well as cloud services
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • You take a targeted and results-oriented approach to your work
  • You are a good team player and have a service-oriented approach

The company operates approximately 90,000 sqm of data center space, 60,000 sqm space alone are located at e-shelter’s main site in Frankfurt, Germany, making it Europe’s largest single data center site. Additional sites are located in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Zurich.
